Richard Daniel Foster, Jr., age 58, of Yulee, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

�Ricky� was born in Fernandina Beach FL on June 1, 1959.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Doris Strickland Appleton and Richard Daniel Foster Sr.

He is survived by his siblings, Jerry (Paula) Foster of Fernandina Beach, FL and Sherry (Rusty) Spikes of Kingsland, GA; son, Richard Foster III (Trey); daughters, Dannielle (Breck) Flowers of Yulee, FL, Amanda �Mandy� (Adam) Salzburg of Fernandina Beach, FL, Christina �Christy� Foster of Kingsland GA and Logan Foster (Joey Boatright) of Fernandina Beach, FL. He had 13 grandchildren, an aunt, multiple uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ricky, also known as �Sundance�, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a larger than life personality and was loved by everyone who met him. He was a true wild eyed southern boy in his youth. He enjoyed trucks and was a true friend to anyone he met. Ricky spent his later years dedicated to caring for his disabled son, Trey, and hunting deer in Waverly, Georgia. Ricky was a senior member of the Red Cap Hunt Club where he served in various board member roles for many years.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at The Kraft Athletic Club (formerly Ten Acres) in Fernandina Beach, Fl.
