Condolences:

James L. Shroads

Richard and I met through work and became friends, and the friendship endured after we both moved on to other positions. He was a good man with a strong set of values that were clearly reflected in his personal integrity and civic responsibility.

Brenda Gunter Peeples

I am so sorry. Our sincere condolences. It was so dumbfounding when I saw Richard’s name in our Local newspaper “the Fernandina Beach News Leader” and then to meet you two. I am thankful we got to meet you two and even ate lunch at your house.
