Mr. Robert Brandon Sylvester, age 33, of Yulee passed away at his home on Thursday morning, November 10, 2016.

Born in Fernandina Beach, he was the son of Teresa Sylvester and Robert Skipper. Brandon grew up in the Crandall area of Yulee and attended Fernandina Beach High School. As a young man he began a career that he loved as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He had worked for Florida Roads and for the past 7-8 years had worked for Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company. During his off time, Brandon worked for Samsonite on the north side of Jacksonville.

Brandon was a happy, bighearted guy that loved being a comedian around his family and friends. An avid fan of the Florida State Seminoles, he enjoyed playing his guitar, singing Karaoke and mud bogging in his Jeep.

Brandon leaves behind his mother, Teresa Sylvester, Yulee, FL, his father, Robert �Skip� Skipper, Fernandina Beach, FL, his son, Kaedyn Wingate, Yulee, FL, a sister, June Ramage, Fernandina Beach, FL, a brother, James Riggs, Yulee, FL and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard.

Brandon will be laid to rest in Hughes Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
