Robert Jeffrey Lee of Yulee passed away on November 19, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Robert was born on August 6, 1989, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, to Ruth Howison Duncan. He grew up in Fernandina Beach among his loving family and many friends.

Robert was passionate about computers, gaming, and cars. He was a kind soul who would do anything for a friend. His beloved companions were his dogs, Max and Bella, whom he considered his children.

Robert leaves behind his parents, Ruth Howison Duncan (Mit) and his bonus mom, Nora Icenhower Register; his brother, Nathan Lee; his sister, Savannah Lee McCarthy (Cole); and his nephew, Holden. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Joan Javens and Linda Howison and extended family: his uncle, Dan Howison (Kathryn), and cousins Jeffrey and Amelia Piper; and his aunt, Joni Howison Poore (Kade), and cousins Tucker and Finley.

A viewing for family and friends will be held at Oxley-Heard on Wednesday, November 26, from 8:30–9:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at Community Baptist Church, 85326 Winona Bayview Road, from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Please come, break bread, and share a memory of Robert.

Robert’s body will be donated to the University of Florida Medical Program so that Wilson’s disease can be studied, in the hope that no other family must suffer from this illness.
