Mr. Robert John Roberts, age 64, former longtime resident of New Providence, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Brunswick, GA.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was one of five children born to the late Robert S. Roberts and Hilda R. Shafer. He grew up in the Wilkes- Barre area and as a teenager started working in Residential Construction. He was a lifelong resident of Northern New Jersey until retiring and moving to Southeast Georgia in October of 2013. Mr. Roberts worked his entire lifetime in the Construction and Property Maintenance Industry; most recently as the Resident Property Manager and Maintenance Superintendent of multiple complexes.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Loretta Jean �Laurie� Campbell Roberts, who passed away in 2013.

He leaves behind his children, Jamie Roberts, Diana Schulman, Stephanie Roberts, all of Kingsland, GA, Cindy Blaier, Morganville, NJ, Tracey Hoffman, Freehold, NJ, Kelly Viterbo, Jackson, NJ, a brother, Steven Roberts, Thornhurst, PA, two sisters, Laura Fogarty, Palm Bay, FL, Hilda McCarthy, West Orange, NJ, eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roberts will be laid to rest in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
