Ronald Phillip Kneebone

Ronald Kneebone, age 85 of Amelia Island, Florida passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence.
Ronald was born on May 30, 1935 in Madison, Wisconsin. He was the eldest of 11 children born to Milton and Dorothy Phillip Kneebone.
He was active in the building supply industry all his adult life. He was a partner of Brunsell Lumber, Millwork and Building Components, a supplier and manufacturer of wood products as Chairman and CEO. He also founded Badgerland Drywall Supply of Wisconsin and served as its first President and CEO. Ron was very active in the building industry serving several terms on the Madison Area Board of Directors, was a Life Director of the Wisconsin Builders Association and was elected into the WBA Hall of Fame in 2004. He achieved a 250 Spike Award for Member recruitment at the National Association of Home Builders.
Ron lived in Madison until his retirement where he and his wife built a home on Amelia Island and moved there in 2007.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Kneebone; sisters, Suzanne Norsether and Kathy Beck.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Marilyn Kneebone; her daughter, Stacy Montague; granddaughter, Emilee Montague; son, Steve Kneebone; brothers, Philipp (Chuck) Kneebone, Randy Kneebone, Rick Kneebone; sisters, Sandra Riley, Judith Arnold, Patricia Roberts, Linda Reschke and granddaughters, Missy and Abby.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from the graveside in Bosque Bello Cemetery with Chaplain Jackie Hayes officiating.
