Rose Marie Carr, 72, of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Warner Center for Caring.

She was born in Charleston, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie McCullough Caraviello.

Rose Marie and her husband, Rick, moved to Fernandina Beach 39 years ago from Hilton Head, South Carolina.

For over 24 years she and her husband worked side by side and operated First Coast Transportation. Through the years Rose Marie made many friends and acquaintances as she touched the lives of so many as part of her work. Among several places their company served, work friends than just business acquaintances but none more so than those longtime friends at the Ritz-Carlton.

A member of Springhill Baptist Church she was a devoted wife and mother who forged strong relationships with her family.

She leaves behind her husband of 46 years Rick Carr of Fernandina Beach; her sons, Charles Carr of Fernandina Beach and Frederick F. Carr, III of Jacksonville; her sister, Julie Lawson and her husband, Richard, of Hilton Head, South Carolina; a brother, Robert Caraviello and his wife, Sandra, of Charleston, South Carolina; a niece, Caitlin Lawson of Puerto Rico; an uncle, Harold Caraviello and his wife, Faye, of Charleston as well as several cousins and other extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors with Rev. Frank Camarotti officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM.

She will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
