Rudolph Anthony Maano

Rudolph Anthony Maano, 82, of Fernandina Beach passed away at his residence Friday, October 13, 2017. Born on Oahu, he was always proud of being a native Hawaiian. He and his wife, Margo, moved to Fernandina Beach 12 years ago from Collierville, TN.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and had retired from Continental Airlines as a Maintenance Director. Since moving to Fernandina Beach he had enjoyed his life on the island and the quietness of retirement.

His surviving family includes his wife of 35 years, Margo Story and her daughter, Vanessa Story; a granddaughter, Antoinette Propson; two sisters, Lagrimas Lee and Yolanda Kaimikaua and a brother, Arnold Maano.

Mr. Maano will be laid to rest at La Flora Mission Crematorium.

In a private family service, he will be returned to his native Hawaii.
