Donna Lavery

I worked indirectly with Sandi & Michael in the insurance business, she was one sweet, funny, lady, always had me laughing with her stories. She was a princess for sure. We shared so many stories. She was a definite force to be reckoned with. She will be missed by all who loved & known her.

Sandi was a dear friend who always accepted a challenge - physical or debate!I'll never forget when we rode our bikes to the South end of the island and had to call Michael to pick us and the bikes up because we were too tired to ride home. Sandi always ddriessed to the nineths and was never without high heels. She even managed to find high heel Jelly shoes for the beach! Sandi always had a smile for everyone and a comment for all.

Sandi was our insurance agent for many years, yet we had conversation like friends. She loved life and people and was passionate about the things that were important to her. Sandi will definitely be missed. Michael, our sincere condolences for your loss. We love you, too.

From the moment I met Sandi, we weren't strangers. She was my agent but we would talk about everything but insurance when we would meet at her office. She was so energetic and I will miss her smile. My sincere condolences to you Michael. She was a rare jewel.

Sandi was such a unique individual. I loved her infectious laugh. She always sparkled on the outside , but I always thought she sparkled within as well. I am going to miss her coming to my office to say "hello" every time she visited her Jax office on Dunn Avenue. She was clearly a blessing to so many. My deepest sympathy goes out to you Mike.

Sandi was such a personable genuine person, over the past 20+ years she & Michael handled my family’s business insurance and there was never a time I didn’t see her in high spirits. She would dress like a movie star and joke like a comedian, she will be dearly missed 💙

Sandi Muhich

2023-05-14

Sandi “Princess” Muhich passed on May 14,2023 in Fernandina Beach, FL.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 47 yrs., Michael Muhich, along with her family dog Tasha and two cats, Meko and Corey; they had no children.
Sandi was from Highland Park, IL. and met Michael who was from Milwaukee, Wi. They married in Wisconsin. Michael states that it was love at first sight when he felt her beautiful soul through her beautiful speckled green eyes. She also told Michael that it was love at first sight for her too. They later moved to Fernandina Beach to continue their life together.
Michael stated she was “One Stylish Lady” who loved life.
Wherever she went she would light up the place as no one was a stranger.
She always loved glitter as evident in her makeup and her attire; and even the walls in her house had diamond dust.
Until her passing she continued her lifetime dedicated exercise routine of two hours per day on her treadmill, recumbent bike, elliptical and free weights. She didn’t miss a day.
Sandi was a lover of nature and animals with an interest in cooking, minerals and gems and world humanity and beauty. Her home was full of house plants.
She loved the desert southwest where her and Michael spent many vacations to absorb the vibes. The fall color foliage change was also a great joy.
Sandi established her career in insurance and formed Sandi Muhich Insurance Agency in Jacksonville, FL.
She will be missed by all who knew her. A true gift to the world. God Bless Her.
Rather than flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Nassau County Humane Society, 639 Airport Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
