Scott Dean Kaltenbach

Mr. Scott Dean Kaltenbach, age 60, of Yulee, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Shands of Jacksonville.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Sally Ann Eichler Kaltenbach and the late Robert Dean Kaltenbach. He grew up in the Pittsburgh and Lisbon, OH area where he attended high school. Upon graduating from high school, Mr. Kaltenbach enlisted in the United States Army. His time serving on active duty took him to Vietnam where he learned the trade and worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. At the time of his honorable discharge he returned to Pennsylvania and began a long career working with Heavy Equipment. Mr. Kaltenbach worked with Caterpillar, Ring Power of Jacksonville, Georgia Pacific / Blue Links of Yulee and most recently with Neff Equipment Rental Systems of Brunswick, GA.

His family recalls his love of fishing and riding street cruisers.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a sister, Faith Fisher.

Mr. Kaltenbach leaves behind, his wife, Rhonda of Yulee ,FL, children, Brandy Kaltenbach, Lisbon, OH, Scott Kaltenbach Jr., Lisbon, OH, Jared Kaltenbach, Helen, GA, Jesse Kaltenbach, Helen, GA, Tiffany Heaton, Lisbon, OH, Josh Kaltenbach, Henderson, NV, Chris Durrance, Yulee, FL, his mother, Sally Kaltenbach, Helen, GA, siblings, Eric Kaltenbach, Helen, GA, Carl Kaltenbach, Helen, GA, Brett Kaltenbach, Buchanan, MI, Lynn Fernald, Helen, GA, Kris Gaston, Helen, GA, Robin Kuhn, Lisbon, OH, eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Jacksonville National Cemetery where Mr. Kaltenbach will be laid to rest.
