Mr. Shawn Jason Kubalack, age 37, of Fernandina Beach, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Hoover,AL.

Born in Madison, TN, he was the son of Steven John Kubalack and Angelia Karen Blackburn. Shawn grew up in Fredericksburg, VA and joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of seventeen. He had worked as a Salesman of home furnishings for the majority of his life. He traveled and worked the entire eastern seaboard as a furniture liquidator. He spent several years in Fernandina Beach and worked various occupations in the area including landscaping, electrical and service related jobs.

Shawn enjoyed billiards with his friends and fellow pool players, walking with his dog Jersey on the beach at sunset or at sundown. The love of his life was his two daughters Keely and Kendall.

He had attended St. Michael Catholic Church with his dad Pete Delfox and Sister Amy.

Shawn leaves behind his mother, Angelia Karen Delfox and her husband, Peter, Yulee, FL, his father, Steve Kubalack, Williamsburg, VA, his daughters, Keely and Kendall Kubalack, Fredericksburg, VA, paternal grandmother, Regina Peters, Knoxville, TN, his sister Amy Camargo, brother in law Netto Camargo niece, Kaleigh Kubalack, nephew, Bryce Camargo, Yulee, FL and his beloved yellow Lab,� Jersey�.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Reverend Father Jose Kallukalam , Celebrant.

His family will receive on Friday from 5:00 -7:00 pm in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard where the Vigil service will be held at 6:00 pm with Deacon Art Treadwell, officiating.
