Shirley C. Quinn

Shirley Christine Quinn, 85, passed away at her home in Fernandina Beach, Florida on Friday, May 4, 2018 of natural causes. Shirley was born December 25, 1931 in Shirley, Massachusetts, the youngest of nine children born to James H. and Rosanna (Joy) Wicks also of Shirley Massachusetts.

Shirley graduated from Lunenburg High School and attended the University of Massachusetts at North Dartmouth where she was a straight �A� student. Throughout her adult life Shirley worked for the Town of Lunenburg MA Telephone Co, the Fitchburg YMCA, the Lunenburg Historical Society, Leominster, MA and Saratoga Springs, NY Visiting Nurses Association, where she performed various records, accounting and managerial tasks.

In 1973 she met her late and much beloved husband Francis J. �Frank� Quinn of Fall River, MA. In 1974 they married and in 1975 they cofounded a Steam Turbine Mechanical Engineering Firm (Steam-Path Inc) where she served as the Vice President and in other corporate positions. Their business thrived both nationally and internationally for almost 40 years before her beloved Frank died in 2012 in Fall River, MA. Shirley assumed the role of President of Steam Path Solutions until the business closed.

While her greatest joy was her beloved Frank, Shirley also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading, knitting, archaeology, and traveling the world.

Shirley is survived by daughter Elisabeth �Betsy� Page and her wife, Barbara Upham of Bellingham, Washington; daughter Nancy Roszell (Page) and her husband Timothy �Joey� Roszell of Callahan, Florida; Mary Lund and her husband Richard Lund of Spout Spring, Virginia; Six grandchildren, Sean McCarthy and wife Erin, Ryan McCarthy and wife Jenifer; Tyler Horne(Roszell) and husband Christopher; Timothy �Timmy� Roszell II; Jason Lund and wife Ngoc; Jeffery Lund and wife Natasha; along with many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews from both the United States and England.

Shirley was predeceased by husband Francis �Frank� Quinn, daughter Deborah �Debbie� Louise McCarthy (Page) (2008) Fernandina Beach Florida, Francis �Jay� Quinn (1996) Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at Saint Peters Episcopal Church, 801 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception at Burns Hall. A family burial will follow.
