I was lucky to meet Sue in an exercise class. Being a little older than most of us, she was truly an inspiration. I especially appreciated her kindness and sense of humor. I am sorry that I will be out of town for her visiting hours, her service, and her celebration of life.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Mrs. Sue Nelson. Over the years, I have done many book signings at the Book Loft bookstore under Mrs. Nelson, the owner. She was always asking “when are you coming back, and can you bring us more books.” I knew her to be a loving, kind, gentle, supportive, and genuine person. I called her my fairy godmother. Mrs. Nelson will be missed.

Myself and the rest of the coaches from the Ping Pong Parkinson's class that Sue participated in (2024) enjoyed meeting and workiing with her on her ping pong skills. She was serius but also fun to coach and progressed a lot. She continued playing at our open play dates after the class concluded. RIP Sue

Grandma Sue was truly a special lady. She was always someone I admired with her grace and love of life attitude. My kids enjoyed her so much - from celebrating her 70th birthday at a minor league baseball game to teaching them how to play cards - she was a very loving person. Grandma Sue will be missed greatly. Love and prayers of comfort to the Nelson family💕
