Mrs. Susan Perry Williams, age 56 of Fernandina Beach FL passed away Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2016 at her residence in Jacksonville FL. Mrs. Williams was born on February 11, 1960 in Fernandina Beach FL, the 4th of five children born to Juanita Perry-Baker and the late Willie Ray Perry. She was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School, Class of 1978, where she was a member of the volleyball and softball teams. She attended Stetson University in Deland FL. In 1984, while working as an Assistant Manager at the Crab Trap in Jacksonville Beach, she met her future husband, Gregg Williams. They began a distant friendship and after years of keeping in touch, they were married in the summer of 1998. Mrs. Williams had a Real Estate license while working for Roy Holland Insurance and later was a Bookkeeper/ Office Manager for Oceanway Medical Center. She was a member of Five Points Baptist Church in Fernandina Beach.
Along with her father, Willie Ray Perry who passed in 2001, she was also preceded in death by her brother Mitchell Alan Perry in 1994.
She leaves behind her husband of over 17 years, Gregg Williams of Jacksonville FL; her mother, Juanita Perry-Baker and her husband Thomas Carl of Fernandina Beach FL; her two sisters, Laura Gail Harper of Fernandina Beach FL and Cathy Perry-Moore and her husband Thom of Orlando FL; her brother Michael Perry and his wife Donna of Fernandina Beach FL, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her beloved pets, Buddy, Pepper and Taffy.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Camarotti officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at 10:00 am. Mrs. Williams will be laid to rest in Bosque-Bello Cemetery following the service.
