Suzanne Hall Masters, 77, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Warner Center for Caring.

Born in Live Oak, FL, she was the daughter of Ira W. and Mary (Mosely) Hall.

Suzanne graduated from Fernandina Beach High School and made many friends from her graduating class. She then graduated from University Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor�s Degree in Education.

Suzanne, Richard and their girls moved to the Chicago area in 1976 where Suzanne was a 5th grade teacher at St. Ferdinand School in Chicago from 1976 to 1986.

Suzanne enjoyed travel, reading, bridge and crossword puzzles. She was quick witted, a good listener and loved a good joke.

She was the widow of Richard S. Masters. They shared 54 loving years of adventure and travel together.

She is also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Hall Travis.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters Stephanie (Sean) Corbett and Shannon (Michael) Straughn, grandchildren Ian and Owen Corbett, Sarah and Megan Straughn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the hour of the service.

She will be laid to rest at Bosque Bello Cemetery.
