Sylvia Ann (Brown) Lee, 73, of Fernandina Beach, passed away peacefully at River City Rehab Center on Friday, December 31, 2021.
She was born on January 27, 1948, in Fernandina Beach, Fla., where she grew up and graduated from Peck High School class of 66.
On November 15, 1969, she married Brad B. Lee at that time they united three girls together and had their first of five boys in 1972.
She taught her children to work hard, be kind to others, to put God first in everything and to have faith in the Lord.
Sylvia had a heart for people, she loved encouraging and telling everyone about the Lord every opportunity she received, it didn’t take her long to become chaplain of the residence at River City Rehab.
Sylvias last devoted membership was at Emmanuel Empowerment Temple in Kingsland, GA.
Sylvia was a kind, loving and gentle soul who was a friend to many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Brown and Robert Durham; a brother, Richard Brown; son, Cedric Lee; two granddaughters, Kami Marshall and Tamica Johnson.
Sylvia leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy, Brad B. Lee (her husband of 52 years); Daughters, Regina Moore, Angelica Lord, Elaine Dixon(Leonard), Angelia Marshall(Joseph); Sons, Brad A. Lee, Timothy Lee, Kevin Lee and Javon Lee; Grandchildren, Tammie Marshall, Leonard Dixon Jr., Lynardra Dixon, Caleb Dixon, Joe Marshall jr, Tyrone Marshall, Jessica Marshall, Zaria Johnson, Jaedynn Aikens-Lee, Taj Aikens-Lee, Zaria Johnson, Zenobia Johnson, Rolencia Lowry, Malachi Hill; Great-grandchildren, Jada Hall, Penelope Dixon, Jeremiah Johnson, Josiah Marshall, Nicole Hall, Mason Marshall, Silas Marshall, Aydrian Marshall, and Uzari Marshall; Brother, James Hunter(Agnes); Sisters, Bertha Brown, Pearl Lewis, Evelyn Christopher(Lawrence); A beloved aunt Renelda Jackson; Two special nieces, Tracy Roberts and Christina Mew(her diva nurses); A special great niece she was very proud of , Victoria Grant; A special great nephew that she loved dearly, KaNard Christopher; Two special people like a son and daughter, Dewayne and Linda Peterson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Family viewing will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at 5 p.m., public viewing will be 6-7p.m. Services to remember and celebrate her life will be 12 noon, Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the Burgess Chapel at Oxley-Heard. Resting place Bosque Bello Cemetery. Mask are required at all
