T.B. became a close neighbor & friend of hours over here on Springwood Lane, Fernandina Beach from 2016 when we bought a lot to build our home here. We loved his ability to make light of many things in life and shared common bonds of interests. We often discussed political views, the Military, and he loved telling his stories from the military and his civilian aviation career. He loved and expressed his faith in God and family and "by God" his patriotism, and love for America! We found a true friend & cherished neighbor here in northern FL!❣

I worked with TB at UPS. I got to know him better in retirement. TB loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him. He enjoyed volunteering at Friends of Fernandina Beach Aviation. We taught aviation STEM classes at area middle schools, went to the gym, Gators football, Jacksonville Symphony and many dining places. TB was a fun guy to know. I will miss his friendship.

TB was always helping others and had high integrity and high standards. Condolences to his family. May he always have blue skies, tailwinds and more horsepower !

I met TB when we both interviewed for jobs with the UPS Airline in February of 1988. We later were hired together and worked side by side for many years. We shared tales of our times working at Delta Air Lines in Aircraft Maintenance and had lengthy religious and Masonic conversations. We traveled together to Europe and especially Switzerland which TB loved to visit. He was a fun, friendly and great guy to know and hang around with. He will be truly missed. But TB was a devoted Christian and I know where he is right now. And we will meet again!

Taliaferro Bostwick Livingston Jr., also known as T.B., passed away unexpectedly in his home on December 30, 2024, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was 81 years of age.
Born on January 2, 1943, in Atlanta, GA, the only child to Taliaferro Bostwick Livingston and Mary Ruth Pearson. He grew up in Jacksonville, FL and graduated in 1961 from Jean Ribault High School. After high school he joined the Navy.
After leaving the Navy he moved to Atlanta, GA and joined Delta Airlines as an airline mechanic. It was then he began his desire to become a flight engineer. After leaving Delta he had several jobs, but then he landed a job with Saudi Arabian Airlines. He lived in Riyadh and Jeddah where he worked and earned flight hours to become a flight engineer.
His desire was to move back to the United States after earning his wings! He was fortunate enough to do just that and became an employee of United Parcel Service in Louisville, KY. He always said it was the best flying gig because packages “don’t talk back!”
While in Kentucky he enjoyed many hobbies, travel and exploring topped his list, he loved learning new languages and was a talented skier, preferring Switzerland to the states.
T.B. was also an avid car enthusiast! He remained in contact with his buddies from high school who he met often for lunch, car shows and cruze ins. Other than his children, his ’65 corvette was top of his favorite things.
As retirement grew near, T.B. started volunteering with UPS and traveled a remote area of the Dominican Republic, where he assisted a small school by bringing supplies and assisting with the students at Colegio Nino Jesus de Praga School.
After retirement T.B. moved to Fernandina Beach, FL, where he promised to enjoy the good life. He became involved in his church, Saint Michaels, where he was an usher. His Saturdays were spent with the Corvette Car Club, his Wednesdays were spent with his buddies from high school and the time in between was spent with family and friends who became family.
T.B. leaves behind 3 children, Diana Livingston of St Augustine, John Livingston of Jacksonville and Clayton Livingston of Louisville, KY.
A mass will be held in his honor on January 25th, 2025 at St. Michaels Catholic Church 201 North 4th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
