Thomas Hand

Thomas Elbert Hand, 62, of Fernandina Beach passed away Tuesday, September 2. 2025 at UF Health North in Jacksonville.

Born in Jacksonville and was a carpenter by trade. He owned and operated his own custom carpentry business working in and around the area including Kingsland, Yulee, and Fernandina Beach. He served his country in the U. S. Army and his passion was riding motorcycles.

He leaves behind his children, Jessie Holland, Julie Marie Burke and Thomas Hand; his grandchildren, Aiden, Christian, Jessie, Brittany, Jacob, Seirra, Abbi, Adnre’, John-John, and Lakelynn.

There will be a memorial motorcycle to honor his memory on Saturday September 13, 2025.
