Was saddened to hear of Timmy's passing. Worked for many years at CCA. Timmy was one of those people who left a positive mark on a person. I'm sure he will be missed by many, but believers don't die, they just go to sleep! Loving prayers of comfort to his family

Tresa (Brown) Long, Little River, SC

Timothy C. Little

2025-05-21

Timothy C. Little, age 73, passed away on May 21, 2025.

He was born August 2nd, 1951 in Fernandina Beach, FL to Bertha “Peaches” and Robert Little. Timmy grew up in Nassauville and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1969.

After graduating from high school, he began working at Container Corporation of America as a Helper in the Mechanical Maintenance Department. Finishing his forty years of tenure, he retired as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

From a young age, Timmy loved the outdoors. He was passionate about hunting, fishing, diving and most of all, spending time in the Florida Keys. For forty-eight years, The Florida Keys became Timmy and his family’s second-home. Lobstering, fishing, and diving were a way of life and tradition at the foundation of his family. He was authentically himself, took pride in his work, protected those he loved, and commanded the room with respect and wisdom. Those who knew him, knew there was nothing he loved more than his family. Of all his accomplishments, his greatest joy was undoubtedly being “Pop” to his grandbabies.

Timmy was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Gregory Little; his father Robert “Bobby” Little; his mother Bertha “Peaches” Little, and his brother, Jody Little. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Lynette Little, his brother Jay Little (Betty), his sister Jetta Ward (Bruce), his daughter Jennifer (Will) Jones, his sons, Jeffery (Cofi) Little and Brad (Rebecca) Little; his grandchildren: Ethan, Kayla, Tyler, Casssidy, Tanner, Lana; his great-grandchild, Asher; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 o'clock on Tuesday, May 27th at Springhill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM, until the hour of service at Springhill Baptist Church.

He will be laid to rest at a later date in Wilder Family Cemetery.

Donations may be made in his memory, and to honor the tremendous love he had for his dogs, to Nassau County Animal Services (https://www.nassaucountyfl.com/845/Animal-Services), or a shelter of your choice.
