Tina Lynette Rowland

Ms. Tina Lynette Rowland, age 51, a lifelong resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away Monday morning, September 21, 2020 at St. Joseph�s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Amelia Christian Academy, Fernandina Beach, Florida. She was medically disabled, but dedicated her life to caring for her family. Tina was a seamstress that used her love and kindness as a thread to keep her family and friends tightly stitched together. She will be missed and she will be loved forever in our hearts (Gail Rowland).
She is preceded in death by her father, Reverend Willard Rowland; mother, Mrs. Jessie Lee Rowland; brother, Johnny Rowland; brother in law, Johnny Boatright; and two nephews, Jerrod Lightsey and Gary Denmark.
She leaves behind her fianc�, Bo Thornton of Jesup, Georgia; her brothers, Wedrell Rowland (Lunett) of Guyton, Georgia; Henry Rowland (Gail) of Fernandina Beach, Florida; Robert Rowland of Savannah, Georgia; Tommy Rowland of Savannah, Georgia, and Joseph Rowland (Heather) of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her sisters, Marylynn Lightsey (James), Lilly Jordan (Horace), Cynthia Boatright and Elizabeth Duke (Shawn) all of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her sister in law, Cathy Rowland of St. Mary�s, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Levitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at 10:00 am. Ms. Rowland will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Ms. Rowland�s nephews will serve as pallbearers; Ken Rowland, Chris Rowland, Sean Lightsey, Danny Rowland, Steven Jordan, and Jacob Boatright. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Jordan, Scottie Rowland, and Philip Duke.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends Tina left behind. She was a bright light and a sweet voice in this world. We�ll all miss her until we meet again on the other side. What a reunion we�ll have then.

Sorry sorry to lose such a sweet friend in this world, who never had anything but good and encouragement to give. Tina you are one of a kind�. Something our world needs, but God choose to take you home to be with him. That doesn�t surprise me, as you were an angel here in earth. I love you, and thank you for every kindness you have ever shown me. Rest high my friend, until I see you again one day. Your work on earth is done. Your family and friends loved you more than we can even express. We have you in our hearts�. Until that day.
