Todd Edward Washechek

Todd Edward Washechek, age 55, resident of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
He was born in Kimball, South Dakota to Ruth Hopp Washechek and the late Richard Washechek.
Todd grew up and lived the majority of his life in South Dakota. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and camping in the warmer months and riding his snow mobile and ice fishing during winter.
He married the former Tiffany Casadia in 2004 and they moved to Fernandina Beach in 2008 where he was a truck driver for First Fleet.
A true South Dakotan at heart, he longed for the beautiful Black Hills where he enjoyed all that nature had to offer.
Todd was known as a man of faith, a devoted family man and one who would always lend a helping hand to those in need.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Washechek; his brother Mike Washechek; his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Alvina Hopp and paternal grandparents, Paul and Eleanor Reindl.
He leaves behind his wife, Tiffany Washechek of Fernandina Beach, Florida; his children, Tessa, Iva and John Paul; his siblings, Rick Washechek, Scott Washechek and Lisa Washechek all of South Dakota; his mother, Ruth Washechek of South Dakota; his nieces, Madalyn, Macy, Mia and Piper of South Dakota and nephews, Richard, Royce and Michael.
Funeral services will be held in at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Kimball, South Dakota and he will be laid to rest in Eagle Presbyterian Cemetery in Kimball, South Dakota.
