William �Billy� Charles McKendree

William �Billy� Charles McKendree, 62, of Sopchoppy, FL passed away on January 19, 2020 at his home with his loving family.

He was born on August 25, 1957 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to parents Roy & Jewell McKendree.

He moved to Sopchoppy, FL in 2007. Billy was a self-employed Commercial Fisherman. He truly loved to fish and go shrimping. He was very popular among his peers and was loved by all of his many friends.

He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Judy Diane McKendree.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joy McKendree; children, Lindsey McKendree (Chris Wolfe), Courtney Anderson (Erik) & William � Bubba� McKendree (Leslie Brinkley); grandson Rhett Charles; sister Brenda Shuman (Lonnie) and brother Roy McKendree.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020, from 5:00 until 6:00 pm in the Harvey Young Chapel at Family Funeral Home in Crawfordville, FL.

On Thursday, January 23, 2020 the family will receive friends at Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. At 6:00 PM family and friends will share memories of Billy.
