William Conway Manly, age 67 of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Warner Center for Caring.

He was born on October 30, 1952 in Swindon, England to the late William Tanner Manley and Jane Alexander Manley while his father was serving in the U.S. Air Force. William began his working his career in the oil industry in Pennsylvania. He also worked in real estate while living in Virginia. After moving to Fernandina Beach he began a career at Publix. After several years service, he retired from Publix in 2017.

He leaves behind his mother, Jane Manley of Amelia Island, Florida and two sons, Tanner and Alex Manley of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

William will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida

We extend our deepest condolences to Bills family. He has been a good friend to us for several years and it was always nice to see him working harder than anyone at Publix ( or so it seemed to me) and having social time at the Surf with him and other friends! It was always a challenge to play trivia with him before trivia was a thing! We wish the family peace during this difficult time! We will be making a donation to one of the local Fernandina food banks in his memory.
With our deepest sympathies, Darlene and Kevin Estes
